After a conversation with our potters and community we have decided to make some changes to how Pottery Night runs to make it more enjoyable and beneficial for our community. We're always open to more feedback, so do let us know if you have any more ideas!
We’re super excited to announce we will have an artist in residence running our sessions whilst Emily C is facilitating workshops in schools! The wonderful ceramicist Anna FC Smith will be taking over and sharing her pottery expertise and wealth of knowledge. We’ll introduce you properly to Anna in the next couple of weeks!
We have reduced the number of tickets available for each session from 15 to 12. This means each potter has more space to create in a quieter, more relaxed environment and the Everyday team is able to more efficiently get your makes back to you when you need them! As a result of this, we have increased the ticket price by £2 but also to help with the rising cost of clay and materials. We are always happy to offer reduced/free tickets to those who need them. Please get in touch with us at hello@everydaywigan.org.uk if you’d like a friendly chat about this.
Pottery Night will be back on Monday 3rd February, you can head to our Eventbrite to book tickets now!
