We are delighted to share that we have received a #NationalLottery award of £19,500 from The National Lottery Community Fund Awards for All for the continuation of our Clay Club project!
Our weekly Clay Club sessions have been an opportunity for those experiencing barriers in accessing the arts, to use ceramics as a form of creative expression. Bonded together by each other's shared experiences and acceptance of differences, a true community has been formed with art as a tool for wellness at its centre.
Our recent exhibition has proven to us just how special the Clay Club community is so we’re over the moon that we can keep this project going and also extend it by visiting care homes and other such settings to bring pottery and creativity to more people who will benefit from it.
