Introducing Everyday's new CEO!

Hannah Robinson-Smith joined Everyday just over a month ago and is very much already a big part of the team!

Taking on all things leadership and governance, Hannah comes from a background in teaching, and is currently also an elected councillor and a member of the Mayor's cabinet in Salford. 

We asked Hannah a few questions so you can get to know Everyday's newest team member!

Tell us about yourself!

"I'm from Salford and have been a teacher for over a decade, and an elected councillor for nearly five years - serving my community, empowering others, and helping people to live the best life they can, in both roles. I'm also a mum of two amazing young girls, and together we spend a lot of time reading, drawing, colouring, crafting, making and listening to music, and attending arts and cultural events and attractions across the North West."

What made you want to be Everyday's next CEO?

"Everyday is such an incredible organisation that provides joyful and inclusive, creative and cultural opportunities for participants, no matter their background or experience. My whole career has been about helping and supporting people, so this definitely chimed with me and the organisational values here absolutely align with my own. Having been a middle leader in schools and leading within my community as a councillor, I knew I was ready to step up into senior leadership; meeting the incredible, female-led, inclusive team at Everyday made me certain that this place and this team were where I was meant to do that!"

What makes you the most excited about working for Everyday?

"I love being surrounded by such creativity, passion, and commitment to serving people, and supporting them to achieve joyful creative expression on their own terms - whatever that looks like, in an equitable and inclusive way. The team, our participants, and our wider community of friends and partners all continue to make me excited for what more we can do together in future."
