Making space for creativity

A young woman with ginger hair with a blonde streak in it, round black rimmed glasses and wearing a checked top is interacting with a small child and their parent who is out of shot. They are ripping a piece of coloured paper together.

Everyday is an independent community arts organisation working in Wigan and the surrounding areas. We believe that creativity and culture are a powerful force for change, and that access to the right opportunities to experience it can improve lives. We provide our community with a safe, inclusive space to access high quality creative and cultural experiences, to enable them to lead rich, fulfilling and empowered lives.

Community Engagement

Community engagement is at the heart of everything we do. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in meaningful creative and cultural activity.

We run a regular programme of events such as Mini Makers, Pottery Night and Young Makers, as well as delivering creative projects in collaboration with artists.

Artist Development

We provide artists with regular, well-paid opportunities for professional development, with a specific focus on supporting artists to engage with their local communities.

Our artist development programme aims to nurture the artist community in Greater Manchester through paid residencies, commissions, workshop facilitation opportunities and free access to equipment and workshop space.

If you're an artist interested in getting involved, please don't hesitate to introduce yourself, we love meeting new practitioners!

Opportunities are listed here and on Arts Jobs.
